On 02^nd October 2009, 4minds Project held its official launch and training event. The training event integrated an introduction to current mental health issues: vital fundamental guide to common mental illnesses and treatment approaches and information on local statutory services & community & voluntary services (CVO’s).

Local statutory services, CVOs and service users, were all invited to the launch and participated in the especially interactive training module – ‘Introduction to Mental Health Awareness.’ It covered mental illnesses such as clinical depression, anxiety & psychosis and provided a platform for service users and service providers to raise questions, discuss current mental health issues and barriers in accessing services.
